The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini spoke by phone with the co-chairman of the HDP Demirtas M.Selahattin on June 12.Mogherini wanted to personally congratulate the co-chairman of the HDP following the electoral success of his party in the elections of June 7 and said she was keen to keep him informed that a European delegation was planning to visit Ankara once the government was completed and as part of the visit the delegation planned to meet with Mr. Demirtas to discuss the evolution of Turkey’s accession process to the European Union, the Kurdish question’s process and the ongoing resolution process.To conclude the interview, Selahattin Demirtas evaluated to the EU High Representative the possible post-election coalition to come to Turkey and wished to express his satisfaction to have received the phone call.
